So all in all, I had a good experience and would definitely go back again. The hotel is cheaper than what I could find in Lynchburg and, to me, at least, well worth the savings.
My family is staying there, rather than myself, but the place it clean and the beds are nice. The hotel is very nice to walk into and warm and welcoming. Not bad at all.
A cozy hotel with comfortable beds
I recently decided to stay overnight at this particular hotel due to other hotels in the Lynchburg area being outside of my budget. I need up getting a double bed room with a couch. I made the assumption that the coach pulled out into a bed which it did not as one of my buddies attempted to sleep on the couch and ended up sleeping on the floor halfway through the night. The beds in a double room are definitely not queen sized they are full-size beds and not big enough for two people which was a bummer. However the beds we're very comfortable for the value of this hotel and I slept like a baby at night. Breakfast the next morning was amazing aswell they had hot servers with sausage, eggs, w/ biscuits and gravy. There was also an assortment of different cereals, muffins and bagels they also had hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and a waffle maker. Let's just say the breakfast completely blew me away it was very good for this particular hotel.
This one was hard to review. The hotel was a bit of a dicotomy from a review point of view. The temperature of the room was very well controlled, but the air conditioner temperature control didn't seem to work the way I expected. The breakfast layout was excellent, but the pancake mix had gone sour. The layout of the hotel did not encourage quiet, but there was no noise. And the room was very, very clean, but quite a few beetle-like bugs got in through a crack in the A/C unit.
I've been staying here every time I'm working in the area. I've stayed here off and on for 4yrs. I've never had a bad stay. The people that work here are great. The front desk staff is the best you have Paul,Hannah and Jenny. If you want a great place to stay this is it.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying with in the Lynchburg area it's only a 15-20 minute drive to the south with amenities far over reaching of those found in Lynchburg
It was very neat and we'll kept. I had a mistake with my reservation but the staff was great and got it corrected with no problems at all! I was worried I would have to pay another's night since the website had me booked a week earlier than I put in for but the staff were very helpful! I would definitely stay again! You get more bang for your buck here too!
**If you're curious about the free Wi-Fi here I did not use it,I tried to connect unsuccessfully twice both in the room and in the lobby I eventually gave up and just decided to use my cellular data instead of the hotel Wi-Fi
